Don’t need a full fledged Dolby 5.1 system in your room?  Looking for better sound?  The Vizio SB4021M-B1 40″ 2.1 Home Theater is a great choice.  Not only does it provide the soundbar for 2.0 sound, but the wireless subwoofer allows you to hit 2.1 and make sure there is some booty shaking, earth shattering low end sounds!

The problem with the new LED and LCD televisions is there isn't room in there to get a good set of good sounding speakers. So, the need for a sound bar arose. Don't get me wrong, we like Vizio TVs here at Teke'sTech.com, but you sometimes need that extra little umph. The Vizio SB4021M-B1 40" 2.1 Home Theater with Wireless Subwoofer is a price saavy option to add some great addon sound to your TV without breaking the bank. It came out right at the end of 2012, and is available on Amazon and in some retail stores.

This is a perfect sized sound bar for people who have small to medium sized rooms with a TV that is around 42 inches. It would work for larger TVs, but I would shy away from using it with a TV less than 40 inches as it could look out of place.

Blasting out sounds up to 101Db level, this thing can ROCK! According to Vizio, the SB402M-B1 has very little distortion until you really push the limits of the system. There have been reports by some users that this system sounds better than some Dolby 5.1 systems...and in my experience, it does. The sound is great, and often I will turn on a digital music channel on my cable box, and turn this up to hear it in the kitchen. Even in the other room with the volume turned up, there is no distortion that I can tell. I was so glad that I got rid of my old system in favor of this for the gaming TV. The sound is great for movies too! The Blu-Ray player hooks in and the sound is perfect. Having a subwoofer is a necessity for any sound system, in my opinion. You need that speaker enclosure that is built to provide the thump of a gattling gun, the rumble of a drag race, or the booty shaking beats of a disco slap bass. Put that all into a subwoofer that is wireless, and suddenly you are one happy camper. This allows you to place the subwoofer in a convienent location, not one that is restricted by the length of your cord.

I am not going to tell you that the sound bar encloses itself into a hidden compartment, or anything like that. I am just going to say it looks sleek. I have it in front of the TV that is hooked up to the Wii. It is unobstrusive, and a perfect stand for that little sensor bar. Most people don't notice that it is even there until the sound errupts from it. The remote is small and gets the job done. There are no real bells and whistles on it, just the necessities. Honestly, it works fine, so there is no hassle there.

The setup of this sound bar is quick and easy. In fact, the hardest part is getting it out of the box! The cable connections are very straight forward, and you should be up and running in no time!

This Vizio SB4021M-B1 40" 2.1 Home Theater Sound Bar can rival some of the market's Dolby 5.1 systems. TekesTech.com is really impressed with the ease of setup, big sound capabilities, and the wireless sub for some extra sound. Don't be fooled by the lower price point of this system - let the sound do the talking!
